The Lino Lakes Park Board advises the City Council on matters of park acquisitions and development. This Board also oversees the development of park and trail systems, as well as recreational programs designed to serve the needs of our diverse community. Park Board members work closely with the city's Public Services Department to determine park maintenance and use policies. A Comprehensive Park Plan has been adopted by the city for the long-range designation of park and trail sites.
The Park Board has seven members appointed by the City Council. Terms are for three years, with appointments made in January.
