Public Safety is a Partnership!

What is tip411? It’s a 100% anonymous app that allows you to send tips to public safety officials about crime, drugs, bullying, suspicious activity, and more via text messages or a free smartphone app.

The Lino Lakes Public Safety Department (LLPSD) utilizes tip411, a popular crime-fighting tool that has been used successfully to reduce crime and drug use in over 1,500 communities across the U.S. We know that people may sometimes be afraid to call police with information, but when using tip411, the system removes all of your identifying information.

Our community can now provide information to us in the following ways:

  1. Send Anonymous Text Tips
    • Send a text message to 847411, then type a space, type your tip info and hit send
  2. Submit Anonymous Tips Using a Free Smartphone App
    • Download the free LinoLakes PSD app for iPhone and Android to submit anonymous tips from your smartphone.
  3. Use Anonymous Web Tip Form on your Computer

tip411 assists the LLPSD team in communicating with community members on important public safety matters by sending public safety alerts. Community members can sign up for all LLPSD alerts or customize your alerts to your specific areas of our City. Types of alerts may be public safety messages, re-routing traffic due to an accident, or other public safety matters. Please use the map on this page to assist you in the enrollment process.

Our community members are our greatest crime-fighting resource and we hope that residents will use tip411 to share important information about suspicious activity, drugs, domestic violence, and stay informed on public safety matters to help make Lino Lakes a safer place for all who live, work and visit our community.
